The countdown is running - only 6 days left until the DET2014 begins :-) the preparations are in full swing.
the program is finalised - the opening ceremony is prepared as well - drinks are ordered - the valve cover racetrack is already at place and we are ready as well!
Just come in good mood and have fun :-)
The first participants are on their way already. They will use the week in front of the DET2014 for vacation or will visit 2CV meetings which are going to take place this weekend. Afterwards they are traveling to the DET as convoy.
The cartrailer (sponsored by Citroën Deutschland GmbH) is ordered and will pick up the curious altered 2CVs which will be shown at the speedwayarea. Maybe one or the other will dicover it on its way from Saarland to Diedenbergen ;-)
We are looking forward to meet you and wish you a good trip to Diedenbergen, without breakdown or any damage.

After a pause we would like to provide some updates:
We say thank you very much and are very happy about more than 300 registrations, it's you "ENThusiast" for whom we are organizing this event!
Thank your very much to all, who support the DET2014 through their pre-registration.!

The DET2014 will offer you the opportunity to register for the WET2015 in Poland, the WET2015 host will be present with an Information booth.

We are grateful to all the sellers who participate on our marketplace and the caterers on our 'Fressgass' (direct translated: "chowlane"), thus we are very happy to present you a nice marketplace with a large range of products.

Our special thanks go out to our Sponsors, who do support us by goods and/or give financial support, and therefore help us to host the DET2014.

Last but not least we would like to say thank you very much to the MSC Diedenbergen e.V., and the Landmaschinen Verein Diedenbergen e.V., who lend us their ground, and the SG Nassau Diedenbergen 1921 e.V. who provides his douches in his club home.

Unfortunately, there is also a negative sidenote to place, about information which reached us through the CCRR e.V. information booklet May/June 2014:
We are very sad to hear, that the so called "Dachverband" (umbrella organization) of German 2CV friends will not show his presence on the DET2014.
Extremly disconcerting we had to take note about the annoucement from the last CCRR e.V. members meeting, that "Similarly unpleasant situations such as in connection with the "DET" 2012 and 2014" should be avoided by an selection procedure.
Of course, all members of CCRR e.V. are welcome at the DET2014, and we are looking forward to everbody who is going to support the DET2014 as guest or volunteer.

Vintage fundraiser of Lebenshilfe Gießen e.V.

We are pleased to present this classic 2CV to you during the "6. international German meeting of 2CV Friends" DET2014 at Hofheim-Diedenbergen

An AK 400 built 1975  with a trailer hitch and truck registration in "Pin Up Style" will be raffled off for charity. Donated by the Citroën Deutschland GmbH this AK400 will be on tour in 2014 and shown at many classic car events in Germany over the next year. Starting at 5 Euros (up to any amount of your choice) you are in this raffle and with some luck you'll be the proud owner of this vintage car by end of 2014, by the way - before it came to Germany - it did good service in a French nursery.

In February the AK400 will start its tour, one station is the Techno-Classica in Essen (March 26th to 30th) - and of course at the "6th international German meeting of 2CV Friends" in July 2014 in Hofheim- Diedenbergen.

this action is performed by "Lebenshilfe Gießen e.V., an NGO and NPO, which helps people with intellectual disabilities and mental illness. On oldtimerspendenaktion.de you'll find much more info about this club and about the fundraiser.

2014 is coming close and we are looking forward to meet you in July in Hofheim- Diedenbergen and have a beautiful and entertaining meeting together. But we certainly see us previously on the one or other club or regulars table meetings.

We wish you a safe ride through the winter and a happy ending of 2013.
